ROGER RUSCH
Managing Director - South Africa
With over 30 years of experience at IWC, Roger has played a pivotal role in designing and building cooling towers across a wide range of industrial applications.
His career began as a project engineer at IWC in 1993, and he steadily rose through the ranks to become Managing Director in 2002. Roger holds a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Pretoria University of Technology and completed a Management Advancement Program at the University of Johannesburg. He is also a registered Professional Construction Project Manager in South Africa.
Roger’s expertise spans project management, system design, commissioning, and performance testing—making him a key figure in IWC’s growth and innovation in the cooling technology sector.
LUIGI ZANZI
Managing Director – Switzerland
Luigi holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and began his career in 1997 as a Project Manager in the cooling industry.
In 2001, he transitioned to commercial roles and, since 2003, has held senior leadership positions—first as Global Sales Director and later as CEO. In these roles, he was responsible for delivering commercial strategies and driving business development and global expansion for two industry-leading companies.
Since 2020, he has been serving as Managing Director of NEXT Cooling SA, a newly established company within the Nooter/Eriksen group. In this role, he is responsible for shaping the entire organization, leading its market development and positioning, and defining long-term strategies to ensure sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
